Conquest Graphics: When the Print You Demand Needs to Be the Best

0

Conquest Graphics was already well established in the printing industry before deciding to take their business to the Internet in 2006.  As one of the largest and oldest printing companies in the mid-Atlantic region Conquest Graphics saw the opportunity to offer quality commercial printing at discount prices worldwide.

Conquest Graphics is an online printing company that offers discount printing to businesses, organizations and individuals.  They’ve been in the business for nearly a century, so they know the printing business.

When you have printing needs, Conquest Graphics believes that you shouldn’t have to sacrifice quality for price.  Likewise you shouldn’t have to pay exorbitant prices for quality printing.

While more and more of today’s business is done over the Internet, print products such as brochures and business cards still have a permanent quality and serve specific purposes.

Conquest Graphics offers templates to help you design your product, then you upload your file to them and they take it from there.  They offer expert advice that’s based in market research as well as years of experienced.

There’s a difference between discount printing and printing at a cheap price.  There’s the old adage that you get what you pay for and that’s true.  But when you’re working with an established company such as Conquest Graphics, you know that you’re getting the benefit of years of experience, talent and marketing knowledge that will not only help you with your design, but can, because of volume and skill that speeds up the process offer your quality print product at a reduced price while not cheapening the quality of your work.

Don’t be mistaken, there are many online printing sources and many companies offering cheap printing.  You can find printing options for business cards, posters, newsletters, catalogs and more with one stop shopping online.

Conquest Graphics certainly wants your business, but they also offer buying advice for those seeking online printing.  They encourage you to look for a reputable online printing company, take a look at their template pages and see what they have available.

The new trend in business and in the printing industry is going “green” to save the environment.  Many print companies talk about their commitment to being eco-friendly.  While a lot of companies talk about environmental stewardship, Conquest Graphics has been a leader in eco-friendly green printing since before it was the “right” thing to do.  All Conquest Graphics  standard papers are FSC-certified recycled papers that are elemental chlorine-free and contain a minimum of 10% post-consumer waste.

Because people’s needs change and industry changes, Conquest Graphics has their own blog talking about trends as well as printing and design tips to make your products the best possible.

Not just limiting their services to printing, Conquest Graphics also offers graphic design, web design and hosting, mailing services and survey and data collection.

And what company is complete without their own mascot.  Rocky the Aussiedoodle is a mixture of Australian Sheppard, and Poodle.  Rocky also spends most of his day in the offices of Conquest Graphics, taking advantage of the dog-friendly work environment.

So, if you have printing needs, be sure to check out Conquest Graphics.   You’ll be glad you did.

Going from Blog to Business and Doing it In Style

0

When John and Sherry Petersik moved to Richmond from Manhattan in 2006, they began the transformation of their first house. Young, energetic and terribly creative, they began chronicling that transformation on their blog: Young House Love. A blog they describe as “Two Young People Falling in Love with Their First House.”

They developed a loyal and enthusiastic following by 2008 and opened their own online shop of original art prints. Today that blog has turned into an all family business, John and Sherry work from home, along with mascot Burger and their newly minted daughter.

Clients seeking advice from Young House Love can contract with them for a “customized mood board with color scheme solutions, affordable furniture and accessory suggestions, layout ideas and more to help you totally transform your space with style to spare.” If you’re lucky, and perhaps skilled enough, your project might even be featured in a before and after post on the blog. How does it all come about? The FAQs section of the website says, “We usually start with the requested decorating style along with specific furniture requests.”

Those seeking a mood board from Young House Love need to show some initiative of their own. Each Monday at “buy now” link appears on the website. Available mood boards are gone within seconds. In a depressed economy, it’s rare to find a company that says “we can’t take your business right now, check back next week.” But that’s been the success the Petersik’s have found.

The couple has been so successful that they now have a regular column in Better Homes and Gardens’ Do It Yourself Magazine. And they’ve been featured on HGTV’s “Rate My Space.”

A unique feature offered by Young House Love is their “How To” section. This section chronicles blog post for everything from furniture refinishing, to porch makeovers, to basement redos. Each task upon which the Petersik’s have embarked with their home, right down to the decorating of the Christmas tree, is lovingly blogged and documented so that you can sign off the Internet, go and do likewise.

Young House Love isn’t just about what will look good, they’re both environmentally and economically friendly. Multiple posts will tell visitors how to green your environment. Best of all, they’ll tell you how to do it on a budget. There are also holiday and art projects galore.

It’s hard to check out a business blog like Young House Love and not be inspired. The problem, of course, is finding the time to shut down the computer and embark upon your own project. With page after page of inspiring ideas and instructions, there’s a lot to see.

There’s no shortage of suppliers wishing to advertise on Young House Love. A healthy sidebar full of design ideas and products rests along side the articles. Not to be missed is the Discount-O-Rama featuring discounts and bargains for readers.

Perhaps it was a stroke of marketing genius for Young House Love to create their regular “Fan Freebie” post. Thanks to the generosity of their suppliers, the blog offers a regular contest where the cost of entry is simply commenting on the blog post with the “magic words” provided right there. Then a random drawing determines the winner. You could win anything from artwork to pillows to lampshades, all with a special and unique design flare.

If you’ve been putting of that room, yard or furniture makeover, head on over to Young House Love for some inspiration.
